“Another name for Bengali existence is Rabindranath Tagore”, said Professor Dr. Mesbah Kamal, Vice-Chancellor (Acting), Primeasia University.
School of Business organized a program on the death anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore “Shorone Rabindranath” on 6th August 2021 (Friday) night through the virtual platform.
Presenting the keynote address as the chief guest at the event, the Vice-Chancellor said, “Rabindranath is intertwined with our existence. We may not be able to finish what Rabindranath wrote in one lifetime. Reading his writings or listening to his songs, it seems as if he has spoken to me.”
Prof. Dr. Iffat Jahan, Treasurer (Acting), also participated as the special guest and thanked to the School of Business for organizing such a beautiful program. She encouraged the students to read Bengali literature.
Prof. Dr. Nashid Kamal, Dean School of Business moderated the program. At this time she asked the students to hold Nazrul and Rabindranath in their hearts. Later this talented artist performed the famous poem “Birpurush” and song “Modhu Gondhey Bhora” of Rabindranath.
The poet is remembered through the recitation of poems and songs. students and teachers performed gradually in the program.
