The country’s best cricketer Shakib Al Hasan has started playing a five-match T20 series against Australia with a handful of records.
Shakib will be included in the list of 100 wicket-takers in T20 if he takes 5 wickets in the current series. He will be the first cricketer in this format to score 1000 runs and take 100 wickets in international cricket.
Only Sri Lanka’s Lasith Malinga has a wicket century in the International Twenty20. The former pacer has 107 wickets.
However, Shakib’s record will be of all-rounder skill. Shakib, who has already scored 1000 runs in T20, will rise to a unique height if he gets five wickets.
