Popular hip hop artist ‘Black Zang’ has come up with a new Bangla rap song titled ‘Bangla Hype’. From today, this rap song has been released on every global music platform in the world.
The composer of the song is Shahan AHM.
Asiful Islam Sohan has been working in Bangladesh for the last 13 years with hip hop rapping. Not only in Bangladesh, but also abroad, he has done several shows for the country.
In the world of hip hop, he is known as ‘Black Zang’. His first album was Dead Line; released in 2009 under the band name ‘UpTown Lokolz’. The super hit song of that album is ‘Ei Mama Ei’.
Many of his solo videos have also been released on YouTube. The new song of ‘Black Zang’ is available along with the global music platform Spotify: open.spotify.com.

Black Zang has been able to attract international attention with the rap songs of Bangladesh at a very young age. Black Zang’s popular song ‘No Boundaries’, starring Chris Hemsworth, has been featured in the movie ‘Extraction’ on Netflix. The song received a good response from the audience.
Another of his songs called ‘Thriller’ was released. He also got a good response.
In 2015, the U.S. State Department hosted a cultural exchange tour, artists from six different countries were invited. Black Zang represented Bangladesh during the event.
Later in 2016, he attended a festival in the UK on an invitational basis, and in 2019 he won a lot of acclaim by performing in Mumbai, India. He also served as a judge on a domestic reality show.
In addition to rapping, he has hosted a show called ‘Planet Hip Hop’ on Colors FM Radio. Which is the first hip hop music radio show in Bangladesh.
Regarding the release of the new rap song, Asiful Islam Sohan said, “This new rap song has been dedicated to the third generation Bengalis around the world including Bangladesh. Because it is the youth generation that gives us great support. Also, this song is very fascinating. Moreover, I have not received much support for rap songs in Bangladesh before, but I have been getting a lot of support for the last four-five years. This song is to celebrate all the Bengalis including all the rappers, music directors, hip hop artists of the rap world through this song.” ♦
